I'm Ali Sarabi

I’m currently pursuing my PhD in Industrial Engineering at Arizona State University, specializing in data science and machine learning. My thesis, “A Deep Learning Framework for High-Dimensional Time Series Forecasting,” received the Outstanding Thesis Award.

My research interests center on Data Science, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Time Series Forecasting. I'm passionate about developing advanced analytics solutions for complex real-world problems.

Professionally, I'm a co-founder of Expeditise LLC (March 2024-Present), a startup in the ASU Venture Devils Program that connects users with expert advisors through a platform integrating GPT API. Previously, I worked as a Data Scientist Coop at Bayer Corporation (2022-2023), where I developed machine learning models to forecast world price dynamics of chemical products.

My academic experience includes working as an Instructor for Introduction to Engineering and Computer Science Capstone projects at ASU, receiving Teaching Excellence Awards for two consecutive semesters. I've also served as a Research Assistant on projects like the Arizona Valley Fever Project and Arizona State Opioid Response.

I hold a Master's degree from Sharif University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from Khaje Nasir Toosi University of Technology, where I ranked 1st in my class.

I'm proficient in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn, Pandas), SQL, and various data science techniques.
